One good thing about the B1/B2 visa is the fact that the document can be used to travel to Mexico even as a fresh document that has never been used to travel to the United State. The immigration officers will flip through your document to ensure that it is carrying the B1/B2 visa, once confirmed, you’re free to go.

YES!. H1B Visa can be used as a document to gain entry into Mexico. As a nationality of any place, you can use your US H1, H2, H3, or H4 visa can enter Mexico without requiring a Mexican visa. The H1B visa must be valid for your entire stay in Mexico. This means that you need to plan ahead and make sure that the validity period of your document can cover the entire time you intend to stay in Mexico. If for any reason you intend to spend something like a month in Mexico, your H1B visa must be valid for at least one month or more at the time of entering Mexico.
Another great way of traveling to Mexico with an expired H1B vis is by getting a Mexico Tourist Visa.
I will always advise ensuring that your document is valid during your entire stay in Mexico. The Mexican authorities will not allow you to travel out of the country when your H1B visa is expired while you’re still staying in Mexico. But for any reason, if you find yourself leaving the country in less than 30 days of staying there and your US visa got expired while you’re still in the country, you can still have the chance to leave the country and return to the United State using your H1B visa using automatic revalidation process.
What Are The Possibility And Chances Of Entering Mexico On an F1 Visa?
As a holder of an F1 Visa, you can enter Mexico with the document. When you have a valid US F1, F2, M1, or M2 visa can enter Mexico without requiring a Mexican visa. As I have mentioned before, the validity period of your F1 is very important if you must stay and leave the country without having any issues. This document must be valid during your entire stay in the country.
If your US F1 visa is valid but is in an old/expired passport, you must bring your old passport along with the new passport. You must present both passports to the airline staff and border officials.
Having an expired document while still staying in the country is a risk. This is why I always advise my clients to always ensure that their documents do not expire while staying in the country. If for some reason you find yourself wanting to travel back to the US and you’re yet to spend up to 30 days while your visa has expired, you can always use the US automatic revalidation while you’re still in Mexico.

The US L1 visa can be used as a document for entering Mexico no matter your nationality so long as you have your valid US L1A, L1B, or L2 visa.
